Why so busy trying to catch other flowers
when some are hard to pick
trying to gather so much
only to find in your garden
only a few will stay
when all along a precious one is there
waiting and wanting to be picked
and is there for you before
you knew it even existed
it is our Lord and Jesus
the king
our father
our friend
an everlasting flower
even when rain or sun
will never make it forsake you
rain is through the bad times
sun is through the good times
